Hello! My name is Amy Myers. Arizona has been my home since 1991 when I moved here to attend college. Little did I know, I would absolutely fall in love with my new home state. After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, I worked for several years for the largest chip company in the US. In 1999, I made the jump from selling chips to selling homes. Not only was it likely better for my waistline, but it brings me joy helping folks find their next home, although I do still really do love warm tortilla chips and salsa, and maybe need a little help with my waistline.
Over the years, I have been told that I treat my clients like family, that I am a great listener / communicator, that I am genuine, and have a fun sense of humor. I also put my client’s best interests first, regardless of the time it may take on my side to help them feel comfortable handling one of their largest purchases in their lives. Maybe due to these personality traits, my group of friends expands with every new client I have the pleasure to work with. It is the highest compliment to then also be called upon to sell their home or to be referred to others for their real estate needs. I mainly work in the area I live, Chandler and the Southeast Valley, but I do work across the entire Phoenix Metro area as well.
When it comes to listings, I market my homes in a variety of ways, including hiring an extremely talented photographer to highlight my listings best features. I also help to send virtual flyers, staging (real and virtual), perform Open Houses, help with moving needs, recommend qualified contractors, and market your home to its best potential. When working with clients, I make it them a priority by quickly dropping what I am doing to go show a home, sending my buyer’s listings that pertain to their needs ASAP, and negotiating the best terms for my clients. I expect my lender’s to also represent me well, by closing on time, attending closings with me, and providing an overall excellent service to my clients.
In getting to know me better, you will notice that I love to spend my free time with my family and friends. I met my truly better half, Russ, while in college. Together we have 3 great kiddos- one in High School, and two who just wrapped up college. I also really enjoy sharing a meal with folks, eating out locally, volunteering, traveling, camping, attending my church, and watching my favorite TV show Fixer Upper. (Yes, I have been to Magnolia in Waco several times since it is super close to my daughter’s college.)
What is probably not too normal about me, is that I also really enjoy watching college athletics. Football is by far my favorite, but also basketball, softball, golf etc. I would rather watch a sporting event then go shopping. Yes, I know, weird. Another fun fact about me, is that I have visited all but one state in America. Any guess…….. the largest, Alaska. With any luck, I would love to visit this “Last Frontier” land of beauty in the next few years.
In closing, I wanted to mention one other attribute to my real estate business. I have real estate connections WORLD WIDE, and can help you anywhere in the world through my partnership with Leading Real Estate Partners of the World. Just let me know where you need assistance, and I will be able to provide you with a like minded agent.
Thank you for giving you a short glimpse into my life. I hope to be able to have the opportunity to serve you and your real estate goals soon. God Bless!
